Our programmes for UK alumni help build long-lasting connections so people are able to build on their international experience. When you sign up to our Gulf-UK Alumni Network you will join a distinguished group of UK alumni from across the region including senior figures in government, business and civil society. As well as the opportunity to attend prestigious gala dinners and awards ceremonies you can also take advantage of professional development courses, leadership training and many other events.

You are eligible to apply if: 

  • you are Bahraini or resident in Bahrain 
  • studied a UK qualification through a UK institutions

By becoming a member, alumni also help shape the future by inspiring the next generation. Graduates of 2020 are entering the workforce at one of the most challenging economic times as the world, and economy, tries to recover from the impact of Covid-19. 

In this talk we hear from two graduates of a previous recession, the class of 2008, about their experience of graduating and entering the workforce amid an economic crisis as they share their top tips with the class of 2020.

Following a nomination and selection process, the current Board was formed in September 2017. We are delighted to introduce our dynamic and diverse board, helping us run and deliver our Alumni programme in Bahrain.

Studying in the UK without a doubt is an experience of a lifetime, it taught me a lot about myself and gave me a world view I wouldn’t have had without this experience…
